My intuition is sharper, more connected and more trustworthy than prior to this course

I retired my LCSW license after 24 years of practice in 2009. I opened a brick and mortar business recycling sporting goods and outdoor gear in a very "outdoorsy" town. I recall that I wanted to be in community in a different way and that I wanted only one psyche on my caseload and that it was mine.

After 10 years I got the new relationship with my community (and with my psyche) and I sucked at running a brick and mortar business. I closed the business in 2019 and moved to Hilo, HI.

Then the pandemic hit. As the lockdown went on I was guided to go back to practicing psychotherapy. My specialty as a therapist was Trauma in all forms, developmental trauma, sexual trauma and intergenerational trauma. Long story short getting my license reactivated was stymied because my files in two of the three states where I was licensed were pre-digital and they were legally destroyed in 2019, ten years after I retired.

As I relaxed my frustration about my license, the Certified Life Coach class caught my attention. I'm so happy it did. The tools of coaching are about self-discovery, self-empowerment, being in the Now and taking Action. These tools really fill out my tool box as a Coach and therapist and as a person.

I've incorporated so many positive practices into my life. I live in immense gratitude for this miracle of Life and the intelligence of Nature. My intuition is sharper, more connected and more trustworthy than prior to this course. I look forward to taking my tool kit on the road and feel confident about the ability of these tools to help any sincere coachee heal old wounds and shift into enlivened growth mindsets to realize their dreams and potential.
