I joined Mindvalley as a member a couple of years ago. I have been a Certified Coach with another institution and have been coaching for a couple of years now. But, I did feel the imposter syndrome many times, not feeling qualified enough to coach clients, especially when they came from the C-Level, despite getting very good feedback from those same customers. I did feel that I was lacking something. Then the opportunity to join MV Certified Life Coach came. I could not take it before because of financial obstacles, but this time around too, life was not easy, but I took the decision to do it and made sure I find the investment, even if it meant sacrificing other things.
Then, I started the course. The weekly sessions were a blessing as they gave us the opportunity to meet with our amazing Coach, Johanna, and also go into the coaching pod sessions with our other friends/coaches. and then, the MAGIC happened - the course was amazing in the sense that it gave me the CONFIDENCE and TRUST in myself that I was on the right track, doing the right things with my clients. It was a HUGE HUGE endorsement that cured my imposter syndrome problem. It also gave me the opportunity to test myself through 5 assessments which I passed on the first attempt itself. Moreover, the coaching pods gave me the opportunity to CORRECT a couple of things, like LISTENING more rather than 'advising', and giving solutions right away. The practice gave me more room and time to create that HABIT that makes a great Coach - LISTEN, listen intentionally, and be PRESENT!
Today, I graduate with the knowledge that I am a good Coach, and that I can help more people out there by practicing what I have learned during these 16 sessions, especially about being FULLY PRESENT and listening with intent.
