"If you're someone who's spent years being the capable one — the one who holds it all together for everyone else — this program will hand you back to yourself"
My Mindvalley Story
Before this Quest, my life was...
...built around achievement. For twenty years I've worked in the legal field, and since 2014 as an attorney — most recently as a partner at a national law firm, managing a department of over thirty people supporting more than 1,600 attorneys across the country. I was good at it — and quietly exhausted by it, in a way that had less to do with hours and more to do with who I was being inside it. My worth had become tied to perfectionism, to being the one who handled everything and never needed anything for herself.
The reason I enrolled, and what I was hoping to learn...
I'd been involved with WilderBody by WildFit, the program founded by Eric Edmeades, for almost a year when my coach there mentioned he thought I'd make an amazing health coach, and recommended I take this life coaching program as soon as possible. He'd taken it himself and found it extremely valuable. I followed his advice, and decided to move forward with becoming both a life coach and a health coach.
During the Quest, and the areas where I noticed the biggest changes...
Coaching Fundamentals and Presence taught me to actually listen — to myself, first. Organize Your Mind and Bioengineering gave me tools for the noise in my own head that I didn't know I needed. Connectedness and the Six-Phase Meditation work became daily practices, not just modules to complete.
Midway through, I took a solo trip I almost talked myself out of. It became an unexpected mirror for everything I was learning — about openness, about trusting flow instead of forcing outcomes, about showing up as myself instead of as the person who has it all together. The biggest change wasn't a technique I picked up. It was learning to trust my own inner knowing as a legitimate source of guidance, instead of overriding it with more striving.
My top takeaways:
Presence is a practice, not a personality trait — and it's trainable.
Self-trust has to be built the same way any skill is built: in small, repeated moments of listening to myself and acting on it anyway.
Letting go of perfectionism didn't make me less capable. It made me more available — to myself and to the people I want to coach.
After taking this Quest, I feel...
...steadier, even with less certainty about the future. I'm graduating not just with a certification but with the beginning of a new chapter — I've founded Innate Wellness Coaching, built on the belief that wellness isn't something to chase but something already within us, waiting to be uncovered. I'm continuing my training as a WildFit coach, carrying this program's tools with me into that work.
Why I'd recommend this Quest...
If you're someone who's spent years being the capable one — the one who holds it all together for everyone else — this program will hand you back to yourself. It did for me. I'm still an attorney, but I'm no longer only that. I'm someone learning to live by flow and freedom instead of force and fear, and I'm so grateful this program was part of how I got here.
