"I would totally recommend this certification, it is pure gold"

Before this Quest my life was lacking spark.

What truly brings me to life are deep conversations, and the pandemic made those types of interaction particularly hard. Making sense of people's behavioral patterns is my passion. Why do we act a certain way? What are the thought patterns we hold on to that keep us stuck in the past? What in us keeps us paralyzed from taking the next step? Why, after a certain time, we can't seem to move forward with our lives?

I was born and raised Orthodox, in Romania. After moving to the UK 10 years ago I became a student of "A Course in Miracles" which is a self-study program of spiritual psychotherapy that teaches people to dismantle a thought system based on fear and replace it with a thought system based on love.

Its goal is attaining inner peace through practicing forgiveness. Although ACIM is non-dogmatic, it is still overlooked for being perceived that way. I joined this quest for the “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “Bioengineering” chapters, and the “6-phase meditation”, to be able to explain such things to people who do not entertain the idea of a Higher Power (God, Buddha, Allah, Shakina, Higher Self, Spiritual guides to name a few) in their lives.

After taking this Quest I am now able to organize my mind and make sense of all the information I attained in my life-long journey through Self-Development.

What I came to understand is that our minds are both our fiercest allies and our wittiest enemies. Often times we keep ourselves bound by the things we can't seem to forgive nor let go of. By holding on to our identities as we've built them (often times from carrying out someone else's legacy, repeatedly making unconscious choices, borrowing someone else's habits in the hope of getting the same level of validation) we are also keeping at bay all the possibilities of things changing and shifting for us.

As fun as that may be, it does not take a trip around the globe to get to know our true selves. What it takes is introspection. However, introspection without action is but awareness. And that's why we rarely move past that level on our own. Change requires action. Little yet consistent action.

Before we embark on creating healthy habits, we are positively challenged to let go of that which no longer serves us first. It takes courage to let go of how we know ourselves to be in order to embrace our true selves. It takes adjusting course one too many times to move towards our dreams. It takes persistence to level up.

Most of the time it takes an accountability buddy to guide us through the next steps when our walls are narrowing in and we are but to break through one more time. In this fast-paced world, having someone be there for you on your growth journey, asking you powerful, clarifying, questions and attentively, actively listening to you, and reflecting back to you without having a predetermined agenda but an honest desire for yourself to come forth is a life-altering experience. I would totally recommend this certification, it is pure gold. ?
