Where do I even begin? It was December 2023 and a week before Christmas I was sat in a room with 200 other employees only to be told that our site was going to be closed down, all of us were losing our jobs! A job which I enjoyed and made the most of for 12 beautiful years…I was upset and devastated. I looked around and saw my colleagues, who were practically my second family, crying their eyes out and I could not believe what had just happened.
But deep down despite the sadness I felt excited, I had been waiting for something like this many years, something to help me step out of my comfort zone and being made redundant was the kick in the butt I needed to take the leap into doing something that was greater than the corporate world could ever allow.
I sat at home confused and lost on where my path will take me next and I opened the ‘Career section’ on my ‘Life Book’ which I had completed in 2020 and the revised in 2022; but reading it this time with the news I had received in mind was like reading a completely different story…I was not reading it with a blank canvas in mind!
And then, as if my Higher Self was taking over my body and was moving my fingers for me, I went on Google found the ‘Mindvalley Certified Life Coach’ Course and processed the payment within a heartbeat not even thinking twice of the price, duration or commitment required to complete it, I JUST DID IT!
And it has been history from there on, a whole transformation has happened in my life and people around me can tell! I am getting clients without having started proactively searching, because my energy has been super infectious. I have shifted into this identity I had longed to be in for so long, I am manifesting all of my heart’s desires and finding my purpose has been so liberating (I get it Ajit).
Working on Life Book was what made me realise that the corporate world was no longer for me, BUT it was this course that was the answer I was searching for...my life's purpose.
The course is genius not only for the material you will get to learn but also the people and community you get to form a part of and the practice sessions where you work with real people which will instil confidence in you and a sense of contribution.
