I am a full time night shift nurse who had no interest in further education. Everyone around me seem to be climbing the ladder and pursuing their degree in NP, Masters, etc. I had a lot on my plate raising one young adult and one teenager kid, single mom. But I felt this drum beating inside me and I felt like I had to follow it. I always see the potential in others but I didn’t know how to help them.
This drum beat lead me to CLC and it has been transformational. During the program, I experienced a crisis in my life and even through the darkest times of my life, I sought to be around my fellow coaches in the labs. That space provided me so much wisdom and healing and I’m forever grateful for this experience.
My big take away as we move to the launching phase of our coaching is to FOCUS ON MY INTENTION AND HOW & WHERE CAN I CREATE VALUE TO THIS WORLD, to keep finding those rooms and spaces that need and value what I bring and the rest will follow. I will continue to learn and seek to be in the same space with great minded beings.
I also had been empowered to communicate well with my children. Teenagers and young adults are hard to decode. They are trying to find themselves in this world and they have a lot of negative self talks. Now, I can help educate them, direct them the right way, love on them on a different level and support them through their lives.
