"I felt at home in this new community of people focused on improving the lives of those around them"

When I entered the program the business that I had run for two decades creating outdoor spaces for people was in the process of being taken over by my former business partners. I was in a healing phase of my life, processing the immense grief and loss I felt at the way this ended. The relationships with people whom I treated like family and who I felt were my friends. I felt ashamed of the end result of my leadership and my vision in the company I created. I entered the life coaching program searching for a way of life where I could serve people on a higher level with my skill sets in a new chapter of my life, something I could do in balance and harmony with living a full life. The program provided a framework for learning new skills, honing skills I already had as a business owner and designer, and building a bridge between my sense of loss and the creation of something new. The community in which I was placed provided so much support, challenge, and inspiration that I felt at home in this new community of people focused on improving the lives of those around them. At the completion of the program, I feel a sense of hope and renewal for the future, strength in knowing I can make a difference in people's lives. It was a beautiful journey of continued self-evolution, self-love and connection.
