My desire to become a life coach arose from the fact that the most fulfilling and gratifying feeling I get is from having made a difference in people's lives, rather than the positions I hold as lecturer or Principal, results my students produced, or money I earned in the process. What matters to me most is when my old students, their parents, or my old colleagues come back to tell me how I changed their or their children's lives for the better. The other reason was finding an utter scarcity of life coaches around Islamabad where I reside, when I looked for one for my college-going son. That's when I felt I needed to be one for others because I can. This way I could add value to people's lives on a larger scale than my immediate area of influence.
I am really glad I had chosen Mindvalley's CLC program out of all I had looked up, as it proved to be the best online learning experience by far. Simply love how it is designed, how informative yet to the point it is, and how the coaches/instructors carry out the training in the most conducive and practical manner. The community they have created is such a safe place and offers tremendous support - which is almost unheard of. I have already started my coaching practice, but I plan to keep learning from this platform and to keep re-certifying myself, periodically.
