Since the age of 7 years old, I knew myself to be a navigator of second chances when I looked into my dad's weary eyes complaining of the hardships so typical of the immigrant story to Canada.

Ultimately I co-founded an interdisciplinary pain and rehab team that uses a neuroscience approach to recovering function. Neuro-tags, neuro-plasticity, neuro-signature, gut-microbiome, and food as medicine are the few fundamentals we are using to transform our approach to recovering from pain, mood disorders, addiction, sleep dysfunction, and body injury.
Despite 17 years post-secondary, over 25 years in active practice, and almost 50 years of lived experience, taking the MV Paul McKenna hypnotherapy course exponentially deepened my understanding of human action, and inaction. It elevated my communication through even more self-regulation and expanded my intuitive sense of circumstances. I am continuously awe-struck by the precious healing connection when you can reach the needs of the heart; the inner child; the soul.
I am now applying these techniques in nearly all my communications from subtle pre-suppositions to set a context to full-out inductions in the midst of my pain management needling procedures to help retrain brain response and perspective of dealing with acute nociceptive pain to broadening my general anesthesia techniques to reduce post-surgical anxiety and pain. The possibilities are truly endless to transform the way we recuperate health by unleashing innate capacity and enhancing standard medical therapies where needed. Strength for Life!
