Prior to the start of this journey, I had always been looking for new ways to help the young people in my life to try different ways of managing anxiety as well as trying to do so myself. It was difficult to travel and do fun things. My last trip was in 2016 on a sailboat and snorkeling for two weeks that was almost a disaster for my husband because it was so hard for me to do anything.
In January, we went away for 3 weeks. I Flew to the BVI, lived on a boat, snorkeled, and had a great time and I got to actually enjoy every minute of it! When overwhelm started to sneak in, I was able to get it under control very quickly thanks to my new tools. I even snorkeled into a cave!
I can't wait to be able to work with the young people in my life who are struggling and help them to find new ways of getting through the hard stuff!
