I joined MindValley in 2022, because I was curious about the Silva Ultramind course. Just one week after completing it, I fell in love and was recruited to the job of my dreams as a leader in one of the best institutions for my field in the US! As I continued my personal growth journey, both my man and workplace fell away to make room for even more spiritual alignment, love, and abundance.
Attending the Manifesting Summit earlier this year (2025) was another jumping off point, and I registered for Manifesting Mastery to continue to clean up my vibrations and learn new techniques to check in and resonate with my highest self.
I had some specific emotional and material goals at the start of the course, and halfway through something clicked. I began to relax even more into myself and discover an easy self-love along with a gentle, warm remembrance and trust in who I truly am. I started to feel blissful regardless of circumstance, and I could feel this was becoming a regular state of being.
The story I want to share represents a day in the life of alignment :).
I moved across the country a few weeks before the end of Manifesting Mastery and hadn’t met many people yet. Then one morning, I woke to discover the plans to have my young adolescent dog cared for during a medical mission trip the following week had fallen through. The departure from what had become daily magic felt jarring. I felt irrationally panicked and started feeling out-of-proportion regretful I hadn’t met more people in this new place.
Before I let the negative momentum carry me away, I needed to meditate. I decided to use a new technique I learned during a Manifesting Mastery session. I quickly focused my mind and simply decided to invite one of any infinite potential solutions to come to me in perfect timing. At the end of my meditation, I had a strong impulse to take my dog to a particular private dog park that morning. Not our usual activity, but I thought, « Cool! This is where I’ll meet someone to help! ».
While Bob Marley and I walked toward the marina, I felt excited and full of anticipation. I was following an inspired impulse, after all, so something extraordinary must happen! When we got to the park, there was one other person approaching with a very tiny older dog. My giant fluffy puppy and I were both happy for a play date, but predictably, they didn’t join us. Marley and I played and had fun with some training games, and no one else showed up. We decided to head back home and I started to think about what I might do for the rest of our free day. No ideas came, but I knew I wanted to learn a new shop in town and find more green spaces to walk on actual earth. I also wanted to leave Marleybear home alone for a few hours to prepare him for alone time in our new place.
Just before we turned on to the last street toward home, I saw another tiny dog walking ahead of us. I gave some distance between Marley and the little cutie, but she was determined to pull towards him to say hi. The other dog mom and I started talking, and within five minutes we were making plans to go see an international sculpture exhibit at a nearby gardens estate with a stop at a lovely local plant shop for chaga drinks beforehand! (I highly recommend the exhibit. TROLLS. Save the Humans. Thomas Dambo)
She picked me up from home an hour later, and we were off! Our respective interests, activities, and expertise conplimented each other so well, and we both agreed our energy together as new friends was just right. I told her I had asked for something fun and interesting during my morning meditation, and she said she had spent the week thinking she’d like to be a vessel of goodness for someone. By the end of the day, I got to visit a new place in town and meet some local people PLUS leave Marley at home for several hours to practice PLUS make a great new friend with fascinating conversation PLUS see a magical art installation in a breathtaking setting right down the street from my new home only two days before it would be taken down PLUS hike in a rainforest as part of the exhibit PLUS my new friend happens to be off or working remotely during the days I will be away, so she will care for my dog. A truly beautiful day filled with new experiences I didn’t even know were available!
I have accomplished a lot in my life—I am a pediatric cardiologist and cardiac intensivist, neuroscientist specializing in the autonomic nervous system, and certified kundalini yoga teacher. Today, my most impactful identity is Human Being, and my greatest joy comes from appreciation and ecstasy in a deep breath and overflowing love of the great, creative adventure that is life. Manifesting Mastery helped me find stability within myself that continues to expand. Now, everyday my most important work is to smile, tune in to my intuition, trust and follow my inspirations, then watch as the Universe seems determined to surprise and delight!
