In 2019 I flew 19 hours to attend a speaking class with Lisa Nichols. Why the long trip. Because Lisa's guidance had made such a profound impact on my life. Even as an experienced speaker who has spoken at hundreds of events, Lisa's training transformed me. Primarily, the key ideas I learned were about HOW to masterfully tell a story. I never realized the importance of story-telling in my presentations. Before Lisa, I was being too left-brained and presenting only with logic-based data. Lisa showed me how to infuse emotion and art into my presentations. In addition, the exercises she trained me on including the "Don't Tell Me, Show Me" technique and the "Valley Technique" have become essential in my speaking.
