When God closes one door, He always opens another. After teaching / training in the Arabian Gulf for 38 years, I came to the conclusion that in reality, I was valued no more than a replaceable body in front of a classroom, so I felt I needed to make a fresh start. On top of that, elderly parents and my wife needed me back home in the US. So, as a gift to myself on my 61st birthday, I submitted my four months' notice at work, having absolutely no idea what I was going to do next for income.
Then, a couple of days after resigning, I learned of Mindvalley's online Financial Freedom Summit in London and immediately signed up, going on to join the Total Wealth Mastery (TWM) Program to steer me through the transition from expat life to States-side life, from working for others to working for myself.
The past year on the Program has been a non-stop learning adventure of digging deep into exploring various investment tracks, focusing on exponential mindset growth, and just getting to know myself better from the inside out. I'm still a work in progress, but I'm very much enjoying this repurposing my life journey.
