Before I joined the program, I was into someone that was into spirituality as well. I had little glimpse that this wasn’t the person I was looking for, but I went after him anyways, which I now realise I was operating from a place of fear (fear of not finding someone that relatable in the future). I had already began to let go, but there were still bits and pieces where I still react the same way when he passes by, etc. I had picked up some of his mannerism, and was inauthentic sometimes. He didn’t know about it, but I was putting myself through turmoil.
After the program, I have learnt that I must love myself before I can have the capacity and patience to love others. We can only love others as much as we love ourselves. I also learnt to honour myself, and that I deserve the relationship that I look forward to. Energy never lies. I let go of those that I don’t resonate with and wish them the best. I learnt that true lovers are vulnerable and true to each other, and the love between them flows naturally.
Now, I have become friends with that person, and I feel like we have grown closer as I become more authentic! I have decided to start a new life and treat myself with love. I honour my time and energy, no longer giving them away against my will. I have more time and energy to recognise and do what I love, and I couldn’t have thank this program more.
