I joined the course with the intention of understanding how to create an online course. I frankly did not have a specific topic in mind.
Through the course I realized that JG made the learning linked to a specific project and hence I found myself creating the spcific project. I must admit it all went through several iterations (i.e. the topic itself). However, the course structure was so beautiful and simple in the way it helped you navigate all its key elements right from who you want to be (your own avatar), then your TG's avatar, followed by tools like "gap" and "moonwalk" - powerful and simple ideas to crack the basic content.
The end result was that I actually had a clear, specific project, specific modules, desired outcomes for the program, and a clear understanding of how this course will stack up in my offerings. The part I am still navigating is the production part. I will get there too, JG has provided more than enough content and directions for that. What makes me thrilled is I am on my way to creating an online course (something I had not even thought of 6 weeks ago!!!!).
