Reigniting a Dream: From Struggles to Clarity
Twenty years ago, I embarked on an exhilarating journey to become an Integral Master Coach. Armed with world-class coaching methodologies, I was ready to help clients navigate their challenges, develop leadership skills, and infuse their lives with meaning and fulfillment. I was full of excitement and optimism about the future ahead.
Back then, coaching was still an emerging field. It wasn’t well-known, and I would often hear, “What sport do you coach?” I patiently explained, paving the way for others to understand this transformative profession. But the reality of building a business was far more difficult than I anticipated. Despite my passion and skill in coaching, I quickly realized that I lacked the business expertise to attract and retain clients.
Resources were scarce, and my coaching business fell into the shadows of my consulting work. As years passed, the landscape changed. More coaches emerged with polished websites, and social media became a dominant force. The arrival of AI left me feeling increasingly overwhelmed and lost. I didn’t know how to navigate the shifting tides and acquire the business knowledge I needed. Slowly, my dream of a thriving coaching practice dimmed.
Then by chance, I discovered Mindvalley’s Coaching Career Mastery (CCM) program. Coach Ajit’s description of the course struck a chord with me. It promised the knowledge, strategies, and business acumen I had been desperately seeking. Could this be the spark to reignite my dream?
Fast forward to today, after completing the CCM program. I feel an exciting sense of purpose and a renewed passion to transform my coaching from a part-time endeavor into a full-time business.
The program delivered on its promises. I now have a clearer niche, targeting the right clients instead of trying to help everyone. I understand how to communicate the pain points of my ideal clients and how coaching can be the solution they need.
One of my biggest challenges was overcoming client objections. I had unintentionally lost around 30-40% of potential clients due to my fear of handling these conversations. CCM taught me a methodology—thanks to Renata De Melo’s guidance—that has completely shifted my approach. Now, I have a formula to guide these conversations with patience and clarity, ensuring that potential clients arrive at a clear decision: a resounding "Yes" or a firm "No." With practice, my fear has faded, replaced by calm confidence.
Another breakthrough came in the form of a money block I hadn’t even realized was there. When a potential client expressed financial concerns, I unconsciously bought into the belief that coaching was "too expensive, not affordable." Rooted in childhood, this limiting belief stopped me from exploring creative financial options and prevented me from fully recognizing and sharing the immense value coaching could offer. Through CCM, I reframed my perspective. I now enter discovery calls with confidence, knowing I can handle whatever challenges or objections arise. I trust in my ability to stay present, ensuring that the client feels seen and understood, ultimately empowering them to make a decision that serves their highest good. Whether they choose to work with me or not, I am at peace, knowing that I’ve guided them with clarity and respect.
Finally, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the safe, nurturing environment created by the Mindvalley coaches. Ajit, Tori, Eric, Aarti, Xue and others—your skill, compassion, patience, and care made all the difference. You created a space where I felt truly seen, heard, and honored, no matter the questions I asked or the vulnerabilities I shared. The way you held us with such skillful presence made me feel cared for every step of the way.
Thanks to this incredible journey, I am once again filled with the courage and determination to pursue my long-held dream of becoming a full-time coach. With immense gratitude, I step forward, ready to embrace the next chapter of my life.
Thank you, Mindvalley, for reigniting the flame of possibility in me. I am ready to serve with heart, clarity, and passion.
