I’m currently near the end of my divorce journey after 30 years together and have been working through the betrayal trauma and grief. I was looking for something that would help me feel empowered as I ventured into the world of dating again. I needed guidance on entering this area once more.
I found helpful advice for both the professional world and the dating scene.
One insight that surprised me and that I shared with my grown daughter (she is 30, I am 52) was dressing to attract… if it is for a first date or first impression, I think that we often have been conditioned to think that we look best in the classic LBD but that tip about dressing in a color that triggers a sensory response or is a favorite color that stands out is such a great note. The response has literally been “Wow!”
