Becoming Focused and Indistractable

"I saw my score go up by 31% and now it is about making sure I keep practicing the new skills I have learned and becoming a little more indistractable each and every day"

Before this program I felt like I was easily distracted. At work and in life generally. That’s why I was drawn to Nir’s quest to “Become Indistractable”.
It was good to think about how I spend my time as a reflection of my values. Were my actions reflecting my personal values and if not, why was I taking this action?
What I have found so great is there were easily implemented changes that had an immediate effect. Quick hacks for both work and personal time.
Using the time boxing method seems strange at first, however when I was reminded that this was not about immediately achieving perfection, but testing and learning every week to find my optimum schedule then it really made sense.
Being at the beck and call of my phone less has definitely had a positive impact on my well-being. And I didn’t even realise how much I was using it until I compared my usage and pickups before and after. I’m on social media less about Ben though I use it for promotion and I’m actually finding it is more effective and I’m getting similar results without the random distraction factor. Similarly, scheduling email response time has made me more productive.
Using the pre and post assessment I saw my score go up by 31% and now it is about making sure I keep practicing the new skills I have learned and becoming a little more indistractable each and every day.
