"This course has transformed how I think about money, life and me"

This course has fit me very well. The course material was explained simply and in a way I could easily understand and also instantly apply in my own life. My old way of trying to increase my money flow was by saving and saving (this I learnt from my Father). Then I would spend most of it out of frustration (this Way I learnt from my Mother). I now have a better balance between the two. I want to expand my container for when I really need, and enjoy spending as well. My attitude has changed towards money. I used to feel very anxious if I had to give out money, eg, paying bills etc. I could only feel good if I was receiving money. Now though, I feel happy to pay because I give thanks to that service, or whatever it may be, that I’m enjoying using. Thank you. I ask myself the question “what does money need to do to work for me, so it is doing a good job”? This is a great question to ask myself because if I’m feeling bad, money feels bad also. These qualities questions that you have taught me to ask myself has allowed me to look closely at myself, which has helped me let go of outdated beliefs and patterns that just don’t serve me anymore. I know that I have to keep working on releasing the anxiousness that comes up if I have to give my money away, but I remember that I will also be receiving, the give and flow, and that makes me happy. Happy flow in, happy flow out. Even as I am writing this essay, wisdom arises. Another question that you put to me, Ken, was “In the past I have always had enough money to”?. when I answered that question, I was amazed how I always did have enough to get by, pay bills, buy food, petal, and even go to the cinema, even though I was saying to myself, “I don’t have enough”. I am a yoga teacher, I love what I do and I am good at what I do. After a few years of teaching I realised that my salary wasn’t great as I was only getting by, living from week to week. I was always saying to myself (out of comfort I suppose), I have a wonderful lifestyle, even though I don’t have much money. This has now been an outdated saying and I was missing out on a lot because of this mindset. I knew I was destined to be a yoga teacher, so that wasn’t what needed to change. I kept asking myself “ How can I help myself and others, still stay teaching and earn a lot of money?” This has been an ongoing challenge for me. When your course was advertised I really wanted to do it, but it was a bit to expensive for me. Then, you offered scholarships, I applied, not thinking I would be accepted, but accepted I was. Thank you. This course has transformed how I think about money, life and me. I ask the question,” how can I be the best that I can be, be of service to all I come in contact with, maintaining a happy and mindfulness state of being”? I trust that as I continue to have faith and continue practising happy money techniques, I can be of service, giving and receiving gratitude to everything and everyone, no matter how small or big. My money container can keep on expanding internally and externally. Thank you Ken Honda for being you.

Happy money is one of the ways to start breaking up this belief that money is evil, money is bad and there's not enough of it. I think it's a real shift and a paradigm and I think it could be a game changer. If you start with young children saying that money is a happy thing and teach c...
