I think I connected with Sonia about 20 years ago for a reading. A friend of mine was intuitive, she studied with Sonia, and she suggested reading, and I was just totally blown away.
She was right on and resonated with everything she said was just so perfect.
I think, and I've had many readings with her, like every six months I actually have readings with her. And then I took a couple of her courses, which really inspired me.
I'm a writer, I've written a number of books.
But something that happened to me during the pandemic is I have a writing studio here in my home, and there was a hummingbird that kept visiting me every morning. And so I stopped and pondered and for many days in a row and I came to understand. Through tapping into my inner voice and intuition that it was my grandmother who was visiting me and she had died when I was 10.
And I realized that there is something in the great beyond that Sonia is always talking about. In addition to guides, it could be people that we know, people that are past, but they can also be spirit guides that we don't know.
That whole experience with the hummingbird visiting involved in my latest book, which is called "Hummingbird Messages from My Ancestors" where I also talk about my experience of connecting with my father and my grandmother through nature. I was very blessed to get Sonia's vote of confidence in that project of mine.
And so I can now teach courses on helping people connect with their ancestors. Through Sonia's encouragement. She said: you need to share your gifts. And again, she gives you the confidence to do it. Not only the tools, but she gives you the confidence to go ahead, and feel that you can do this.
