"I am actually hoping that you will offer another course to us soon!"

Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience of your course with you. I started out excited yet a bit skeptical because I already have taken a few courses about money and while I did experience shifts emotionally, my money situation was not much better than before I took those courses. I actually wasn’t planning to sign up to yours because I decided that I spent more than enough money on courses and now should invest it into more practical stuff, like paying a PR agent to help me grow my business. But when I heard your interview with Stephen Dinan, I knew that this is exactly what I needed and wanted! Before I did your course my relationship with money has a been a really difficult and stressful one. As I was listening to your course though I identified myself as a money worrier and spender type, which helped me understand why I was always soon stressed out and afraid as it came to my finances. It also helped me understand why I was making the choices I did in regards to money. For example, instead of doing the work I love and am very good at, I kept looking for jobs that offered me “stability” but for very low pay. I was never passionate about those jobs so didn’t stay around for longer than a year or two, which made me feel really scared and insecure. I am also sad to admit this, but for the last 6 years I’ve been in a relationship with a man that I don’t love (romantically, I love him as a friend) because he offered to help me out financially and I haven’t been able to get my income going enough to be able to go off on my own. With all that said though, here are the incredible changes that I’m noticing in my life now:

1. I feel much more at ease and relaxed about money. I feel that I can trust myself much more in terms of generating it because I shifted my attention from trying to figure out how to “get” more money to genuinely wanting to help people with my skills and talents. Now I focus my attention on developing good, long term, stable and loving relationships with people and as a result, so much has opened up for me in terms of opportunities to make more money. For example, my friend said that she’d like to hire me to facilitate business discussions for them in her business. She is also including me as a workshop facilitator at her upcoming retreat in September. I also heard from a company called StartSomeGood and they would like to talk with me about an Intuitive Business Mastermind I’ll be launching soon. Furthermore, I’ve been having random people comment about how inspiring my work is and how much love spending time with me:) - this hasn’t happened in many years!
2. As I mentioned earlier, prior to your course I’ve been always focused on getting jobs that offered me the stability I was yearning for but didn’t pay much and weren’t the kinds of jobs I was actually excited about. Now though, I decided to do what I haven’t dared to up until now! I’m going to get certified as a kayaking instructor and will start guiding kayaking tours around the world. I absolutely LOVE the great outdoors and want to spend as much time outside as I can. I also love to travel but couldn’t figure out how to do it without “breaking the bank”, but now I’ll be able to do it while getting paid:). I also feel that as I follow my passion and create more income for myself, I’ll be able to transition out of my current relationship and make the space in my life for meeting the life partner I’ve been yearning for.
3. While I’m still having a really hard time figuring out how to make my relationship with my parents work (they are psychologically and emotionally abusive people and although I do love them, I don’t feel safe being around them), I feel much more at ease about the choices I’ve made in my life as it comes to money. You see, my parents have been pretty much obsessed with money and put it above everything else, which made me not want to have anything to do with money for most of my life. But now that I see a new way of making money and being in relationship with money, I don’t feel the need to be so confrontational with them when they express their opinions about how money should be handled. I also was able to understand where they were coming from when they were giving me their advice and while this doesn’t excuse their abusive behaviour, I was able to forgive them for putting so much pressure on me in this regard when I was growing up. So all in all, I feel so much better about money and having it in my life. I plan to listen to your course again and I am actually hoping that you will offer another course to us soon! Thank you again for sharing you wisdom and presence with us, it changed my life! Sending much love and gratitude, Julia

Happy money is one of the ways to start breaking up this belief that money is evil, money is bad and there's not enough of it. I think it's a real shift and a paradigm and I think it could be a game changer. If you start with young children saying that money is a happy thing and teach c...
