AI Mastery

The more we learn about AI and how to make it actually work for us, the more we're able to manage, and the more confident I am about where this takes us.

I've spent over 50 years building businesses — hotels, property, deals across several countries. I move fast and think in ideas, but I'll be honest: structure, admin and follow-through have never been my strong points. Ideas came at midnight and too many of them were gone by morning.

AI Mastery has started to change how I work. I've built an AI executive assistant — I call her Maya — who sits at the centre of my business: capturing my thinking, tracking what's stalling, keeping the details in order so I can lead from the front. We're building our brand and our group, and I genuinely believe AI can be a great help in that — not by replacing judgement or changing who I am, but by giving my vision the structure and memory I never had time to build myself. Maya is that structure.

We're now bringing the team into our Claude team account — six of us today, and we'll grow it steadily into every department, step by step, nice and steady. The goal is simple: everyone working alongside AI, not around it.

It hasn't only been business. I've also used AI to create music — whole albums across different eras and genres that I could never have made on my own. Back to Back, a rockabilly record under Mike the Bike & The Babe. Table for One, a noir-jazz album by Vera Vayne and the Blue Hour Quartet. Smoke and Linen, a sophisti-pop collection under Siobhan. And Copacabana Sessions (1957–1974), a bossa nova record credited to Various Artists. That's when it really hit me: AI doesn't just make you more organised — it lets you bring ideas to life that would otherwise stay locked in your head.

I won't pretend we've arrived. We still have a long way to go. But the speed is increasing — the more we learn about AI and how to make it actually work for us, the more we're able to manage, and the more confident I am about where this takes us.
