"One of the most rewarding outcomes of this journey has been inspiring my son to explore AI"

When I first joined the AI Mastery program, I felt like I was stepping into a whole new world. I came in with almost no knowledge or experience in AI, and honestly, it was overwhelming. Living in Venezuela added an extra layer of difficulty. our internet goes down constantly, and many AI tools aren’t even accessible here without using a VPN. Despite these challenges, I was determined to make the most of this opportunity.
The classes were packed with so much valuable information, but following them in English, a language I’m still perfecting was yet another challenge. I often had to watch lessons multiple times, pausing, rewinding, and taking notes just to keep up. It wasn’t easy, but I refused to let these hurdles hold me back.
The same thing happened with the office hours. I always held back from asking questions live because I wasn’t caught up with the latest recordings. Everyone else seemed so far ahead, and I didn’t want to slow anyone down by bringing up something from a past session. Let’s just say impostor syndrome had a field day with me during those moments!
But even when it felt tough, I didn’t let myself give up. I learned to embrace the feeling of being small in a massive ocean of knowledge. It wasn’t just about what we learned in class, I had to figure out how to use new tools, read up on related topics, watch tutorials, and dig through forums for answers. It was a lot, but it was worth it.
Even now, I’m still catching up with the lessons and materials, but I’ve learned to celebrate progress over perfection. This program has shown me that learning doesn’t have to be linear or complete to be meaningful. Every small win, the tools I’ve mastered, and the ideas I’ve explored, add up, and I feel more confident continuing this journey at my own pace.
Even before I felt ready, I sat down and started defining my project. I didn’t know exactly how I’d pull it off, but I trusted the process. And along the way, I found so much inspiration, from the instructors, my classmates, and the challenges we tackled together. I loved reading about the creative solutions others came up with, their wins, and even their struggles. It reminded me that I wasn’t alone in this journey.
One of the most rewarding outcomes of this journey has been inspiring my son to explore AI. He left school a few years ago, feeling like he didn’t fit into the system, and I’ve always hoped he would find something that sparks his interest. Through my experience in this program, I encouraged him to consider AI as a path worth exploring. It fills me with hope to see the potential for him to develop a genuine interest in this field and awaken skills that have been lying dormant until now.
And then there’s "Kawari," my project and my dream. It’s more than just a business idea to me, it’s a way to help people who’ve been left out of traditional systems, like the unbanked, to plan and book travel with ease. My goal is to make Kawari not just accessible but empowering, showing that technology can be both innovative and inclusive.
Beyond that, I’ve come to see AI as so much more than a tool for business. It’s a way to solve real problems, create meaningful change, and include people who are often overlooked. That’s the kind of impact I want to be a part of, not just for me, but for others too.
Now, as I look back on these four months, I realize this is just the beginning. I have so much gratitude for this program, for the amazing team who always supported us with patience and kindness, for the rich and well-curated content, and for the expert instructors who brought such depth and mastery to every subject they taught. Their passion and knowledge made even the most complex topics engaging and approachable. Beyond that, the sense of community made even the hard days easier.
Thank you, Mindvalley, for giving me the tools, the confidence, and the wings to take off on this journey. I’m so proud to be part of this tribe, and I can’t wait to see where we all go next.
