“I built a 0.01% AI Advisor, created two original songs, and rebuilt my momentum during the hardest year of my life”

Over the past year, my faith and resilience were tested in ways I never imagined.
At times, I felt like Job from the Bible, holding onto faith while everything around me was being stripped away. I lost my wife. Then I lost my mother. I trusted God, but there were seasons when grief and uncertainty felt overwhelming.
I enrolled in AI Mastery because I needed forward momentum. I did not want to simply survive. I wanted to rebuild.
Early in the program, we built Custom GPTs. I created my “0.01% Advisor,” an AI designed to guide me daily in decisions, mindset, health, and focus. What began as a technical exercise became transformational. It functioned like a structured coach, helping me process emotions, clarify decisions, and stay accountable during one of the hardest seasons of my life. It did not replace faith or people, but it gave me a framework to think clearly and move forward. It helped me rebuild discipline, improve my health, and regain momentum.
That clarity translated into execution. During the program, I built an application in a single day that would traditionally require months of coordinated development effort. AI Mastery did not just increase my productivity. It expanded my belief about what is possible.
Creativity became another breakthrough. Through AI Mastery, I wrote and produced a Christian song called Faithful Provider and shared it with my mother before she passed. She told me to keep creating.
After she passed, I flew to Guam for her funeral. Her church is deeply traditional and had never allowed non-hymnal music. Using what I learned in the program, I created and refined a second song, I Am Home (In My Father’s House), in a way that honored both her and the church’s traditions. They approved it. It was played at her funeral. Afterward, they even asked if they could use it again.
Another moment that deeply impacted me was when Dominic Ashburn personally reached out with condolences. That gesture reflected the heart of this community. This program is not just about technology. It is about people.
Today at graduation, I was honored to receive the Ultimate AI Master Award. That recognition represents more than skill. It represents resilience. It represents choosing creation over collapse.
My biggest takeaway is this: AI, when used intentionally, can become a framework for clarity, creativity, execution, and growth.
AI Mastery did not just teach me how to use AI.
It helped me rebuild my life.
I am grateful for this community and the support I have felt throughout this journey. I look forward to continuing through future Masteries and working toward MVU with clarity, purpose, and abundance.
And I am just getting started.

Before this program, I... wasn't sure AI could change my life. My wife Sabrina had to convince me to join AI Mastery in July 2024. I was a Program Manager at AMD. Competent, respected, but quietly restless. I was dabbling with AI tools but had no framework, no methodology, and no con...
