Before this Quest
Before I joined AI Accelerator, I was already balancing a lot.
I work full-time at the County of Ocean as a county clerk and, at the same time, have been building my self-publishing journey through Amazon KDP and the Breakthrough Publishing program. I was putting in the effort, but I was moving slowly and not consistently meeting the milestones I set for myself.
It was not just business either. I was feeling decision fatigue across many areas of life, like exercise, eating better, learning faster, taking notes in meetings, and just trying to stay organized while learning so many things at once.
As someone with a physical disability, I sometimes learn more slowly, move more slowly, and need more time to do certain things. So when I am trying to grow in my job, build my business, and improve myself at the same time, it can feel like a lot.
More than anything, I wanted some of my time back and to use it better.
Why I joined AI Accelerator
I joined AI Accelerator after attending the masterclass because it could help me.
I had already published my first book, an advocacy story, on Amazon KDP as a challenge to prove to myself that I could do it. I am also working on a full-length book titled The Advantages of AI for Beginners, and I want it to help beginners understand AI in a practical, approachable way.
I wanted more than a basic understanding of AI. I wanted real working knowledge that I could use in my daily life, my job, and my business.
Even though some friends and relatives were not the biggest fans of AI, I believed it could be very helpful, not just for me, but for a lot of people in situations like mine, especially people with physical disabilities who could benefit from better systems and support.
I did not join just because AI sounded exciting. I joined because I believed it could make life easier, help me move forward, and help me serve other people better.
What I built and learned in the AI Accelerator
There was a lot to learn in this course, and I honestly loved it.
One of the biggest practical wins for me was building a personal email communication clone.
Writing important emails used to take me a long time because I wanted them to sound clear, warm, and tailored to the person I was writing to. Before this course, drafting a good email could take me about 1.5 hours. Now, using my communication clone, it takes me about 20 to 30 minutes or less to get to a strong draft in my voice.
I just started using it, so I know I will feel even more of the benefit over time, but the difference is already real.
I also built my meeting intelligence clones, and that has been a huge help too.
I have business meetings, personal meetings, and meetings with support agencies, so being able to focus on the meeting itself rather than writing every single note is a big deal for me. Tools like Granola and NotebookLM are already helping me save about 10 hours per week on notes, drafting, and organizing.
That is huge for me because it gives me more room to think, recover, and focus on higher-impact tasks.
Another big lesson for me was learning how important my own data and context are.
Before AI Accelerator, I wasn't a data squirrel. I would save things, but then I would forget about them or not use them effectively. This course helped me understand that when I give AI better context, I get better and more personalized results. That changed the way I think about problem-solving.
I also really loved the learning clone work, especially using NotebookLM.
One of the most emotional moments for me in the course was reflecting on earning my master's degree in business at Rider University, which I completed in December 2020. While I was watching the lessons, I kept thinking, "Man, I wish I had this back then." Tools like NotebookLM and meeting note tools would have helped me so much in school. That really drove home the value of this course for me.
The video clone process also opened my mind in a way I did not expect. After seeing what Vishen demonstrated, I started thinking about practical ways I could use visual AI tools in my own life. Even something as simple as shopping for clothes has always been a challenge for me, so being able to preview styles before going to the store could help me save energy and build confidence.
And since I independently publish books on Amazon KDP, I may also use some of these tools for short video ads in the future.
I am still working on the automation clone, especially Airtable, and that has been the biggest learning curve for me. I have rewatched some of the recordings 2 or 3 times to make sure I understood them. The good thing is that NotebookLM now helps me review faster and absorb more.
So far, I have started 4 of the 5 core clones, completed 3, and am still working on the others.
I also plan to build a wider variety of communication clones because writing and communication have often been one of the most tedious tasks for me. This course helped me see that this can become more efficient, more creative, and even more fun.
The biggest positive changes in my life
The biggest change for me was not only productivity.
It was my mindset.
Before this course, I often felt stuck, both personally and professionally. I had goals, but I felt like I was always behind, always trying to catch up, and using too much energy on necessary tasks that weren't always high-impact.
AI Accelerator helped me see a different path.
Now I feel more confident, more capable, and more hopeful about what I can build.
This course helped me:
reduce decision fatigue
improve how I communicate
learn faster
Stay more present in meetings.
Focus more on high-impact tasks.
It also gave me more confidence in the AI book I am writing, because now I am not only learning about AI in theory. I am actively using it in my real life.
Most importantly, this course reinforced something I already believed deep down: that AI works best when humans and AI collaborate.
These tools are powerful, but they still need human imagination, logic, and context to deliver the best results. That middle ground feels right to me, and it gives me a healthier and more grounded view of what AI can be.
Top 3 takeaways from AI Accelerator
AI can help me get my time back
It does not replace me. It helps me focus on what matters most.
Better input creates better output.
The more context and clarity I give, the more useful and personalized the results become.
Growth with AI is a process.
I do not have to master everything overnight. I can keep building, learning, and improving over time.
Why I recommend this Quest
I would absolutely recommend AI Accelerator.
It is worth the investment, and not only financially.
It is also a mental, emotional, and personal investment because you really need to know why you are doing it. When the learning curve gets hard, and sometimes it does, your reason for being there is what helps you stay with it.
Whether you are a tech expert or someone who is brand new to all of this, I believe this course can help you:
build confidence
reduce fear around AI
Use technology in a way that supports your real life.
I am the founder and CEO of Above and Beyond Ability Publishing, and I can honestly say I have grown from where I was at the beginning of this course, and I know I will continue to grow.
If you have a growth mindset or are trying to build one, I strongly encourage you to take that first step and invest in yourself.
AI and human connection will be profound parts of both the near and long-term future. This course helped me see that more clearly and feel ready to be part of that future in a meaningful way.
