Before A-Fest, I was extremely down, tired and almost into depression for many reasons, one of the reasons: a day before flying to Portugal, a tornado touched 3 blocks from my house and destroyed many of my neighbors' houses. I was in the basement with my family and we heard the tornado passing our house. The next day, I decided to go to A-Fest. I could not sleep for 40 hours until I arrived at A-Fest.
Anyways, I have many friends in our A-Fest family and they supported me and heard me and pushed to dance, chat, hugs, dream together and from the moment I started laughing and being me. Just to be present with amazing people helping others, energized me and inspired me to go back with a different mindset. I'm at home and still, the community is in chock, thanks for MV A-Fest and the tribe I am able to serve, being present and available.
