For a long time, I thought I was alone being a purpose-driven multi-hyphenate. But a series of unexpected events that started at a low-cost hostel in Playa Del Carmen in 2012 brought me to the Dominican Republic filled with epic humans at what was still known as "Awesomeness Fest" in 2013. It was there that I truly found my tribe-- people who truly understood the man I've become and the man I was going to become. I've been to an A-Fest every year since then (except for Jordan), as well as Mindvalley U's first go-around in Barcelona. I also found myself supporting the birth of a camp that would bring AFesters to Burning Man, including Vishen himself in 2014. I'm honored to have received the first-ever "Inspiration Award", and even be considered a "Piece of Furniture" in the Mindvalley home (thanks to Rebecca Ambler). I've been blessed to have met beautiful souls that I've been able to share true love with, as well as lifelong friends that have supported me through my life's ups and downs. Being able to share the AFest experience with my brother and my best friends also been such a gift.
I am and will forever be grateful to Vishen, the ever-evolving Mindvalley Team, as well as the many kindred spirits that have joined me on my journey throughout the years (even when I tore my groin muscle off the bone in Sardinia and still won the dance-off! Go Gold Team!) Thank you all for being in my life. I am who I am because of you.
