“I stopped chasing outcomes, returned to who I truly am, and watched my life and work begin to flow again—without force”
Before the 7 sacred states challenge, I was exhausted and quietly defeated.
On the outside, I had a professional practice I’d spent years building. On the inside, I felt like I was running in place. Nothing was flowing. Effort wasn’t translating into results. And for the first time, I was seriously preparing to walk away.
I had decided to shut down my website, take down my booking page, and hand my clients over to someone else. Not in a dramatic way, just a tired, resigned “I’m done.” It felt like I had lost my song.
Thanks to the program, something subtle but profound shifted, one state at a time.
The Rumi quote you shared, “If I sit in my own place of patience, what I need flows to me, without pain,” landed like a truth I had forgotten. I realized I had slipped into hustle mode while telling myself I was being spiritual. I was overthinking, pushing, chasing outcomes. And the harder I tried, the less worked.
Knowingness (I AM) brought me back to my non-negotiable values, who I am when I stop performing and start being. The stories you shared, especially the reminder to absorb what resonates, discard the rest, and add my own voice, helped me release the pressure of getting it right. I didn’t need to force a melody. I needed to let the universe compose with me.
The deepest shift came through Non-Attachment.
The morning after that session, I was sitting quietly in the sun, no journaling, no fixing, just stillness. And a clear inner voice said: “All you have to do is be who you are, with joy in your heart. Stop chasing. Let the rest come to you.”
In that moment, I stopped trying to control the how. My energy softened. My nervous system exhaled. And almost perfectly, the following day’s state of Devotion reminded me that letting go does not mean disappearing. It means continuing to show up, without force.
And now my life is lighter, clearer, and rooted in trust.
The state that impacted me most was Non-Attachment, because it unlocked everything else. In my mind, the constant strategizing has quieted. In my heart, joy has returned. In my energy, there is ease instead of pressure.
Two breakthroughs changed everything:
First, I chose not to shut down my practice. I remembered that my role is not to chase results, but to show up in service. Second, I had a difficult, potentially bridge-burning conversation with someone close. In the past, I would have pushed through it and walked away resentful. This time, I stood in my truth with compassion. I used one of the practices to transmute hurt into love and closed that chapter without bitterness. That moment showed me that the work had truly integrated.
And the universe responded.
Within days, I received a heartfelt message from a student sharing how my work helped her step into confidence as an animal communicator. Another student experienced a breakthrough simply by entering stillness instead of overthinking. Seeing the light return to her eyes reminded me why I cannot walk away from this path.
Looking back on 2025, I now see the pattern. Goals set through Mindvalley are unfolding, not through force but through alignment. My health shifted through WildFit. My vision came alive through CoursePro. And this challenge brought me home to trust.
I am no longer trying to make things happen. I am allowing them.
My mantra for 2026 says it all: “The check is in the mail.”
