Maye's storytelling reminds me of my mother's and grandmother's stories. They would tell stories in a loving, assertive and authoritative way, the only difference I noticed was that they never talked about their failures or like Maye did. Maye Musk owns herself unapologetically, and I found that fascinating. It made me feel ok to make mistakes, own them and course correct rather than bury them under the carpet and keep cribbing about why the carpet stinks everyday.

My favourite takeaways from the quest - own myself fully, make my own choices..day after day everyday, ask for anything that I want and have a good sense of humour.
