“Touched my heart deeply and is absolutely true to me”

Saw the masterclass with Neile Donald Walsch this week and I'd love to share some of my insights, learnings and memorable moments with you.

First off, I was pleasantly surprised by how Walsch began the class by making funny faces directly into the camera. One of the gems is not take yourself so seriously. I really love this, the playfulness and joy.

The first story about what Walsch would have done if he'd encounter a robber stealing his phone was for me a mind shifting experience. I too would probably have chased and confronted the robber, like Vishen explained. However to stretch oneself in such a way how Walsch described is a powerful act of true empathy, compassion and love. I think it's about being present at that very moment instead of reacting subconsciously with immediate retaliation. True, a big challenge for sure but a powerful habit to grow and hone.

The second story about his experience of his friend underbidding for local handcrafts at a market in Peru. Touched my heart deeply and is absolutely true to me. Reminds me of how I go about on the Sunday market here in my Ecuadorian town. I always ask the prices but never underbid making the vendor feel uncomfortable. What happens instead is that I've build up a friendly relationship with this vendor and every time she gifts me three avocados for free. How abundant!

The closing words:

Profound, super powerful and inspiring. I've been integrating this in my life for a whole while and it's such a joy.

Lastly, the loving presence of Walsch. He's being spoken from source as all the right words, stories and info are coming through his vessel to us.
