"Mother of three daughters"
Mother of three daughters. Living with anxiety and depression (which culminated in my postpartum during my second daughter's arrival). Feel stressed, inadequate, and spinning my wheels almost EVERY day. Always questioning 'am I doing the right thing?' Jokingly say that I was the best parent before I had kids - but even that isn't true. When I was a teacher, I wasn't conscious. I was so full of ego and trying to prove myself that I failed at what I was doing. Being confined during COVID has really brought about even more visible warts on my parenting. Listening to my older daughter speak to my middle daughter makes me cringe. She hits ever condescending note in my voice PERFECTLY and I feel embarrassed and ashamed that this is how I speak to them.
