"I am so grateful for having found this quest at this time"
The other day a female acquaintance was telling me all about how she always gets angry with her husband. After I listened, she asked me if there is anyone I get angry with. I said yes I get angry with my daughter. When she asked me why, I said well because she is a kid, I have all these expectations of her which possibly no one can fulfill let alone a 10 year old girl. This is a great realization for me and shows me how far I have come in this quest. Prior to doing this work, I would have used that question as a valid way to cleanse myself of my complaints about how she is this and that and can't do this or that, but now I look at the situation as coming from the problem of my expectations being out of alignment with who she is. I am so grateful for having found this quest at this time.
