"I have been a big fan of Sadhguru, who brings great simplified insight into deep topics"
When I got invited to this Sadhguru Quest, I'd just completing reading his latest book "Karma". This was his second book that I've read, the first being "Inner Engineering". I have been a big fan of Sadhguru, who brings great simplified insight into deep topics. So naturally, I was excited for this quest to see what else is possible?
The 15-day quest was insightful and I learnt some new yoga breathing and mindfulness techniques. A lot of the information is already on the net, however, it is scattered all over the place. This quest structures the content in a more logical flow where you get more clarity connecting the dots. Think of it like a 15-course dining experience, where each dish of knowledge compliments the preceding piece. In contrast, having it all from the next without structure is like a buffet of knowledge that can be overwhelming.
The biggest change I have had from this quest is the reinforcement of the value "playfulness. Also the stripping of everything that is you to show up in the present beyond memories and imagination. The yoga techniques were cool as well that I have incorporated into my morning practice.
Biggest takeaway: "To resist change is to suffer in life", Go with the flow and don't swim against the force. (Similar to Bruce Lee's "be like water".
Recommendation: If you are familiar with Sadhguru's books and work, it is familiar themes delivered with more clarity. If you are new to his work, then prepare to be mindblown.
