Before this program, I took a college communication class over twenty years ago. I had gone through multiple emotionally abusive relationships that made me question my communication skills. After all of that experience and reading books about narcissism, I decided sharing my experiences through storytelling would be a way to give advice and share the red flags I ignored to help others that may find themselves in similar situations.
On my healing journey, I came across this course and was challenged to commit to this 30-day course. It took me a few months to complete it but I gave myself grace and was encouraged by Lisa's energy to stay committed to using my voice to inspire. I learned about the different types of speakers and was able to identify what I was and how to work on the one I have become. This course has allowed me to incorporate the tools I learned on my social media platforms when I am posting to my audience of 1 or 100K. I am grateful for this new information and Lisa simplifying my approach by bringing clarity to how I see my audience. I now speak to share information as if I am speaking to one person because I feel this is so effective rather than feeling like I am talking to millions. This approach keeps me aligned with my objective...If I can help one person then I served my purpose for my speaking engagement.
