I am a doctor who decided to find a solution to weight loss so that people would lose their excess fat without recovering it, and I found it!
My studies on obesity treatment helped me work with the Mexican government on research to help people lose excess body fat.
I decided to write a book about what I learned from this research so that the nation could take advantage of these results.
But it turns out that I had no editorial support and null experience in promoting book sales (plus, no budget to help it turn into a best seller).
That is when I stumbled across the Silva Method and used it to see if I could turn my research into a popular book.
I would create an image of seeing my book in the Best Seller rack and it happened!
Not only did it become at one time the best-sold book in my country, but it also continued to stay in first place in sales for almost 4 consecutive years!
My book is categorized as an editorial phenomenon and in 1994 voted Book of the Year by all the editors in my nation.
All this without any editorial support whatsoever and only with visualizations learned from the Silva Method.
But things did not stop there, because this book also changed the way Nutritionists and Dieticians are trained.
Even though the book is written for the general population, today it is studied in Schools of Nutrition when students cover obesity treatment.
And now this little book has crossed the frontiers and is currently used by the Nutrition department of Kaiser Permanente to help people change their eating habits.
Thousands and thousands of people have read my book, used its program, and lost their excess body fat to never regain it, while at the same time controlling their diabetes, cholesterol, high pressure as well as other diseases.
All this from a young and eager doctor who believed in the Silva Method.
And as a side note, at one time I was told that I would never be able to write fluently because of an attention deficit disorder.
So, what do you think about that, a best-seller phenomenon written by someone with an attention deficit disorder!
It is a wonderful thing that the Silva Method does not believe in mental limiting factors.
