I tried the visualization techniques and they really worked for me in terms of fulfilling my wish or even in terms of reducing the anxiety or stress that I felt about the future.
I was working in a school and I had my dream school in mind, and that seemed like a far-fetched dream because they had made it clear that they would not accept someone of my nationality and background. And they only hire a specific type of people, but I decided: "You know what, I'm not going to stop dreaming"
So I held that vision in my mind that this is the school that I want to work at. And I just kept it in mind.
I kept going through my day-to-day holding that vision and imagining, doing the picture visualizations using Silva method.
And now I am teaching in that school!
It actually came to fruition in the most unexpected way. When I was just living my day-to-day with just doing those visualization exercises, without any expectation. Again, without questioning how to will get there or why it will happen. Just knowing that it will happen, but not second-guessing the how or the why.
