I saw myself very clearly doing the guided meditation, going into my lounge for example and thinking, "I know why I'm not productive, I know why I can't finish the book - I need to rearrange all the furniture". I actually envisioned rearranging everything while I was in the experience.
I had this very strong sense of - I'll then be able to do the things that I've been procrastinating about forever.
Well, I think, actually, I will do it literally straight away, because it's about writing and whatnot. I kind of have activities which are around the peripheries of writing and I just thought, you've got the skill, you've got the time, you're just being lazy. You're just not doing it. And I had experiences within that that actually said to me, and there's no reason to delay this any further. You probably do need more of a feng shui situation going on. Now I know how to do it.
Genuinely being in a habit, being in a particular routine that is quite difficult for me to break out of and I think the experience I had with Focus was showing me that what I needed to do was "Just do it. Just get off your behind, get it done, and actually, things will start flowing". And it also, because perhaps I was able to focus more clearly, it showed me a way of doing it. And maybe that's been my biggest problem. I'm not quite sure how to swap things around, and I'm not sure what's going to make this improvement. And I saw it very clearly when I was having the Focus experience.
I totally agree, the answer's there, and it's either a combination of blockages, maybe a bit of laziness, a bit of, oh yeah, it's too much trouble to break out of my routine, which works.
This actually showed me, that this will work much better for you. And if you do it soon, then basically you start your journey much quicker. I guess that's what surprised me.
