"Mindvalley reminds us that we hold the power to become the positive change which we want to see in the world"

Mindvalley, what can I say?... Ever since I met an incredible person last year and developed a relationship with her, she opened my eyes to the world of spirituality, enlightenment and the ability of adopting different perspectives. Needless to say, I was unfortunately rather closed off for so long. She was able to penetrate my soul and help me begin my own journey of healing, self-discovery and mindfulness. Fast forward through the first 8-12 months of Covid19; having read through a lot of spiritual and personal growth books and adopted exercises like meditation and breath work, it simply intensified my curiosity into this whole world of personal growth and mindfulness. Up until most recently (Approximately early December), as I was mindlessly scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled upon what I now believe was one of the best paid pieces of advertisement ever... Mindvalley. It right away struck a cord with my interests and so I clicked the advertisement and away I went. I was totally in awe and amazed by everything they were offering; masterclasses with this person, masterclasses with that expert, with this spiritual guru and so on. I was at "home". So I signed up for about 6 free masterclasses in 1 week and truly dedicated my time and energy to each and every one, really giving the class and the teachers an unbiased and open mind through and through. As much as I wanted to buy in right away because everything simply resonated with me, I really did go in with an open mind and heart, and tried to forget my personal beliefs and wants, that way I could make an unbiased decision. What happened in just about every free Masterclass truly amazed me and left me not just craving for more, but left me feeling like I was "On the right track" and had finally found my fountain of inspiration, learning and personal growth. The latter reasoning to me was what pushed me to sign up for the All-Access Membership. For far too long in my life I craved to learn more, to do more and to BE more. I wanted to do good in the world and change the world for the absolute better, I just didn't really know how I was going to do that. I lacked personal growth, motivation and most importantly, direction. I was always so good at talking about doing things, but lacked the ability to take the first step in legitimately DOING those things - I didn't have a plan. Mindvalley hasn't changed who I am over the course of the first 1-2 weeks, but it has really made me feel like for the first time in my life, I am in a learning and teaching environment that is conducive to who I am and who I want to become in the future. With Mindvalley, not only do I feel like I've found my spiritual and personal growth home, but I feel challenged to immerse myself in subjects that I otherwise probably would have never taken or done, but simply talked about doing. Through an easy daily/weekly online video and homework-based platform (It's really not homework if you're enjoying it and it's fun), I'm able to soak in all of the information in an easy way and carry out exercises that will further my development in an incredibly effective way. What's scary is that I'm only 1-2 weeks in and I know there's still so much for me to learn, share and experience both individually, and with thousands around the world through their global online community. I'm really looking forward to seeing my growth and personal development when this year is done and being aware of new opportunities in my life and perhaps acting on most, if not all of them. What I think Mindvalley and Vishen understand so well is that in most of our educational systems from primary to secondary and even through post-secondary, we are really just told that the world is the way that it is and we have to just accept it, live with it and do things in a chronological order and live our lives that way until our life ends. Unfortunately, that constant reality is exactly why I knew I didn't want to live an ordinary life. However, what Mindvalley and Vishen have been able to create is a rather unorthodox, yet very valuable personal growth system based on learning the things that we all thought about, especially when going through our twenties, yet society tells us we're weird, crazy or unconventional for believing in these things. Mindvalley allows us to immerse ourselves in these very important fields that simply lead us to becoming the best version of ourselves that we can be. And the better question I have to ask is rather, who wouldn't want that? I do believe that with these classes, mine and your dedication to show up and truly believe in the transformation, that we'll all eventually get the change we're seeking and will become our best versions of ourselves. We can focus and work towards our dreams as opposed to working a job we hate going to, we can create new products, feel more confident in meeting new people whether in wanting to develop a friendship or relationship; we can choose to create a world that is more peaceful, harmonious and loving as opposed to settling for the one in which we're currently living. Mindvalley teaches us so many things, even in just the first few weeks. But most importantly, Mindvalley reminds us that we hold the power to become the positive change which we want to see in the world. It starts with me, and it starts with you. We just have to show up, and play full out. Best of wishes to everyone who chooses to dedicate their time to transforming their life through Mindvalley! You have the power. Enjoy the process and smile! Mike
