Before this program, I was in the midst of a significant transition in my life, feeling that there was more to life than what I was experiencing. I had come to realize that there were aspects of my life that were not in congruence with my core values. I was guarded, believing vulnerability was a weakness, struggled with self-love, had isolated myself from a lot of people, and carved out absolutely no time for myself.
Through the program, I found myself alive amidst a community of like-minded individuals, all navigating life’s multiple complexities. This was a space of unconditional listening, shared experiences, opened hearts, and abundant, non-judgmental love. I found my safe haven – to be myself, to share, to learn and to grow. There’s nothing quite as liberating as someone holding up a mirror with genuine love and empathy, allowing you to see yourself clearly.
Over these past four months, I have seen myself change in a visible way. I am fueled by immense gratitude that uplifts me every day. I’m growing myself spiritually which is bringing so much meaning to my life. I’m engaging in more acts of kindness. I’ve reconnected with old friends and sought out others who simply need a trustworthy friend to be vulnerable with and feel loved. It’s been incredibly empowering; by being there for someone else, I’ve learned so much from these deep meaningful conversations that have fueled my energy. I’m managing my time much better, prioritizing both self-care and moments with my family and friends. I am more understanding and empathetic than I was before.
For so long, I’ve been consumed by my pursuit of perceived passion and success, so committed to everything else that I didn’t even realize that I was leaving myself behind. My entire being was so occupied and busy. My greatest learning from this program is the power of giving myself “ME” back. It’s about filling my own cup first, so I can truly pour into others. I’ve also seen great things happen simply by surrendering and giving up control.
My teenage children recently told me “I am calmer, not triggered quickly, more understanding, and more open”.
