Before finding Little Humans I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed during the first week of lockdown in New Zealand as my 9 year old son Jasper was freaking out. I was trying hard to settle him but I couldn’t because he was clearly picking up on my feelings of panic and insecurities which I thought were being well managed! My first live call was Dr Shefali’s conscious parenting & co-parenting call which made me feel so much lighter and even made me laugh. It was a wonderful experience and I learnt so much and vowed to be the lighthouse for my son during this extraordinary time of Covid-19 and being in a lockdown. I’ve watched almost every Little Humans episode and feel like I’m a much more rounded and brave parent and have a new found passion for tapping after watching Alex Ortner’s episode. Thank you Renee & Akira for bringing such wonderful minds together and your wonderful laugh into Little Humans and making my lockdown time an awesome experience of parenting development and joy.
