Before working through this Quest I was searching for some answers, knowing I needed change and knowing in the rough direction where changes were needed, but by enrolling and following through with Jon and Missy on creating my LIfebook, I now have focus and a much clearer vision of where I am going and I am looking forward to continuing this process by signing up to the follow-on programme.
I have gained inspiration, wisdom, drive, and confidence to follow my heart and become the person I have always been chasing. Although still in the early stages, my key gains have been: my focus on health and fitness is sharper and I am more determined to deliver for myself and my son; career opportunities have opened up and I am reaching to grab them;
I have been blessed with a positive result in my most recent and last try at IVF (now 12 weeks and skipping) and perhaps most importantly I have taken stronger steps to change (leaving) my relationship as I can clearly see although having been unhappy and unfulfilled for a long time I have procrastinated doing something big enough to really change this (because of our young son and the complexity of my current pregnancy).
However the change is positive and I see the future as a happier one where two people are no longer paddling upstream and against each other but one that will be more harmonious for our son and both of us too, despite the obvious disruption.
My growth will also allow me to handle this in the best way possible for my son and do everything in my power to remain courteous, civil and kind. My journey is only just beginning but what a beginning it is.
