“I feel like I finally got the piece of parenting that my parents couldn't give me”

I feel like I finally got the piece of parenting that my parents couldn't give me (yeah, they never got it, either) that I couldn't find anywhere else, through any other people, through any other means. I can finally be a true adult and live out my life purpose. Can't begin to tell you what that means to me.
