When I stumbled upon this program, I was at a major crossroads in my life and completely overwhelmed. Having found the courage to step out of an abusive relationship thanks to a lot of work on my personal growth, I felt crushed by the new choices and responsibilities of being a single parent of a child with special needs during a pandemic, having lost my job due to school closures, trying to protect my son from ongoing abuse during court-mandated visits, doing my best to help him and myself heal from years of trauma while fighting for custody, my home, my career and my safety...there were many times I was sure I could not handle all of this and wanted to give up.
Then I began the Lifebook Journey. I am not sure how I even had the strength to spend time on my personal growth during all of this, but I did it.
While completing the 6-week program, I was somehow able to successfully and finally get a divorce after 20 months of fighting, get a restraining order for myself and pressed charges for abuse on my son's behalf, reorganize my home and get rid of clutter, pay off all my debts and put a financial plan into place, and even went on a vacation.
I am on track to build my new business and hopefully refinance my home now and finally own it without the looming threat of my ex-husband getting it and having to move out after almost 2 years of living there with only my son.
Even more amazing is that what seemed like a devastating possible outcome now seems like only a hurdle to overcome, or even an opening to new possibilities.
If I have done everything I can to keep my home and I still don't get approved for the refinancing, I now have the hope and the confidence to feel sure I will be more than ok; my son and I will not only survive but thrive despite any circumstance, despite where we live or what anyone else may do.
I will raise our vibration so high that we will shine as examples of victory and empowerment so that we can help others who may need light to help them see their way out of the darkness.
I am sure that I would not have come this far without my Lifebook journey, and I can't wait to see how the mastery class will propel me into my beautiful future.
