"The way they taught personal branding and communication didn't just change my business. It changed how I show up"

I almost didn't do it.
I want to start there, because that's the honest part. Before I joined Entrepreneurial Mastery, I sat at my kitchen and stared at my numbers until they blurred. The math wasn't mathing. My credit limit was $3,000, and even that money already had somewhere to be.

But something in me wouldn't let it go. You know that feeling? When the version of you that you're supposed to become starts knocking, and you can hear her, even when you're trying not to?
So I picked up the phone and called my credit card company. I asked for an increase. And when they approved it, I just sat there. Heart pounding. Hands a little shaky. No safety net. No guarantee. Just me, betting on a woman I hadn't fully met yet.
That was the moment. That was the leap.
And here's what nobody tells you about leaps — they don't feel brave when you're taking them. They feel terrifying. They feel stupid, even. It's only later, when you look back, that you realize: that was the day everything changed.

I run a cleaning business. For a long time, I thought growth meant working harder. Longer hours. More buckets, more shifts, more of me being the engine for everything. Inside the program, I learned something that flipped me upside down — growth isn't about doing more. It's about thinking different.

Daniel Priestley showed me the strategy behind building something that actually works — not just something that looks good from the outside. Verne Harnish made business feel simple in a way it never had before. And then there was Shadé Zahrai. Out of all the incredible speakers — and trust me, they were all incredible — she was the diamond. The way she taught personal branding and communication didn't just change my business. It changed how I show up. To clients. To my family. To the mirror.

Naveen Jain taught me to tell stories the way investors do, and I remember thinking, I can't believe billionaires are teaching me how to think. Ajit Nawalkha gave me a financial foundation I didn't even know I was missing. Kwame Christian's negotiation training? I've listened to it more than ten times. Every single time, I hear something new. It changed how I talk to clients. How I price myself. How I walk into a room.

With everything I was learning — and with a little help from AI — I built a website that looked like something I had no business being able to build. I added a simple two-minute quiz. And then, quietly, beautifully, bookings started coming in. Not once in a while. Consistently. I'd refresh my phone and just blink at it. Is this really happening? To me?

Yes. It was happening. To me.

This program didn't just grow my business. It grew me. How I think. How I speak. How I see money. How I see opportunity. How I see the woman in the mirror.

And I keep coming back to that night. The shaky hands. The racing heart. The phone call I almost didn't make.
Because the biggest breakthroughs of my life didn't start with having it all figured out. They started with a trembling voice and a quiet decision: I'm going for it anyway.
 And I did.
