Before learning about conscious parenting, I yelled a lot and didn’t know how to control my emotions with my kids. I tried harder to look like a good parent than to be one. Now I have so much more freedom and I look forward to reviewing the mastery parenting to remind me of the distinctions and enjoy the process once again.
